Clean Science and Technology has independent and well-equipped production lines that are a combination of continuous, as well as semi-continuous facilities at both our Units. With over 900 people working diligently, both - at Kurkumbh, and at the Pune office, Clean Science boasts of expertise in hydroxylation, acylation and alkylation chemistries; using our own proprietary catalyst systems to manufacture them.
Clean Science and Technology meets international industry and quality standards, following ISO 9001 standards. Our ultra-modern labs located within the factory work around the clock, regulating all raw materials and finished goods.
Our state-of-the-art Quality Control department includes Chromatography liquid (HPLC, a thin layer (TLC), Gas Chromatography (GC, including headspace), Gas Chromatography coupled with Mass spectroscopy, weighing balances, Karl Fischer analyzer, Automatic-Melting point apparatus, Lovibond Colorimeter etc.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
We have two full-fledged R&D Labs to carry out multi-step chemical synthesis. These labs operate within our plant and both labs are approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), New Delhi, India. The goals of our R&D Team are:
To develop eco-friendly and cost-effective processes that would avoid the use of hazardous starting materials
To work towards the continual improvement of our existing products and processes, in terms of yield and quality
We are equipped with two well-lit warehouses with ample stacking facilities; space for the handling of cargo and weighing bridges up to 50MT. The warehouse has segregated areas for all our products conforming to safety and health standards of Pharma and Food industries / requirements.
EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT
Clean Science and Technology, in its commitment to be a truly sustainable company, has invested in the best possible ETP. Starting with clean production processes, the effluents are further processed in our ETP facility, located at the factory site. We have both - aerobic, and anaerobic treatment facilities to treat the effluents produced. The effluents are treated to match the required COD and BOD as per government norms. The wastewater is then used to develop a green belt around the campus which serves in conserving water and the environment. We have Multiple Effect Evaporators to accomplish ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge).
